I only read Wizard - the Life and Times of Nikola Tesla by Marc J. Seifer.. It is incredibly detailed and sometimes a little dense. What I took from the book was that Tesla was an eccentric genius whose focus was the science, to the detriment of his financial affairs - he barely gave patents any thought (if he had patented more of his inventions he might not have died poor).
